One of the core values of the Rivers & Spires Festival is to give back to the community. This year, for the first time, the festival accomplished this in a new way. Local artists were invited to participate in the Rivers & Spires Poster Contest, with the winner creating the 2010 poster design for the festival. The Poster Committee was overwhelmed by the response. After careful consideration of all of the designs, the committee chose an artist (and poster) they felt best represented all of the elements of the festival. It’s colorful design, whimsical appearance, and inclusion of so many key pieces of the festival made it stand out above the rest. The festival is pleased to announce the 2010 Poster Contest winner is Clarksville’s own Brandt Hardin.
