Rivers & Spires brings a wide variety of events to the streets of downtown Clarksville. We are still working a full line-up of events for 2010 (check back for more information), but here are some of the events you can expect:
Arts Galore
Come and shop with us in Historic Downtown Clarksville to find all kinds of unique art from local and regional artists. Come early, shop and buy all the unique gift finds that will be available at the festival or with our Downtown Merchants.
Children’s Parade
Once again, kids 12 years of age or younger and their accompanying adults can join all the fun – characters in costume, small floats and walkers – in the Sixth Annual Rivers & Spires Children’s Parade.
International Streetfest
Celebrate Clarksville’s diverse culture by enjoying a showcase of costumes, dance, food and visual arts. International streetfest is a whole world of culture, cuisine and entertainment in one area. Among the diverse cultures representated are cultural experiences from Japan, Panama, China, India, Africa, the Phillipines, Germany, Mexico, Puerto Rico and many more!
Jazz N Wine
Located in the plush Trinity Episcopal Church Courtyard and grounds, Jazz N’ Wine is Rivers and Spires Annual Wine Tasting.
Kidz Zone
Travel through our inflatable jungle, climb walls, paint, create, or participate in all kinds of interactive entertainment! The Kidz Zone is a fun station filled with over 21 FREE events for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Marketplace
Open on Fridayand Saturday the Marketplace is a row of vendors that sell just about everything from sunglasses to antiques.
Quilts of the Cumberland
This show, which is FREE to the public, will offer a diversity of quilts on display. We will have juried exhibitions as well as non-juried exhibitions at this year’s show.
